Eat your Baskin Robbins and support firefighters!
Here's one way to treat yourself to some yummy Baskin Robbins and do some good at the same time! Baskin Robbins is hosting its 2nd annual 31 cent scoop night on April 28 from 5-10pm to support the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation (CFFF).
From their website:"31 Cent Scoop Night invites Canadians to enjoy a 2.5 oz. scoop of their favourite ice cream flavour (served in a cup or cone) or a 3 oz. Soft Serve cone for only 31 cents each.*** All customers will also have the opportunity to make a donation to the CFFF while in-store.
31 Cent Scoop Night is an exciting night out for the whole family to enjoy an evening of ice cream while, at the same time, paying tribute to our nation's fallen firefighting heroes. Some locations will be hosting additional activities, including having local firefighters on-site to assist in serving ice cream and giving tours of their fire trucks.
And also...
New for 2010, Baskin Robbins will be selling a limited edition "Forget Me Not" sundae. Available from March through April 30, this special sundae will retail for only $2.99 (plus taxes where applicable).
A portion of the proceeds from sundae sales will be donated to assist the families of fallen firefighters through the CFFF*."
